SUMMARY:Grieving for Gaza
DESCRIPTION:\n\nYou are invited to join the Feminist Therapy Network’s Gr
ieving for Gaza Bearing Witness Vigil on the eve of one year of genocide i
 n Occupied Palestine.\n\nSunday 6th October at 7pm UK time on Zoom\n\nThis
is an invitation to hold silence and reflection together\, allowing our h
earts to bear witness to the mass destruction\, killing and displacement o
f tens of thousands of Palestinians that has followed Hamas’ attack on I
srael on October 7th 2023.\n\nBy pausing together\, by taking a collective
breath\, we tend to both ourselves and to each other\, we open our hearts
and commit to the ongoing practice of individual and collective liberatio
 n. We recognise the sufferings of settler colonialism and refuse to separa
te ourselves from these ongoing acts of violence and dehumanisation.\n\nWe
will begin with a period of silence (for around 15 minutes). Please bring
a candle to light\, if you are able to. A time of reflection will follow
(around 20 – 25 minutes)\, held by the simple guidelines of Council prac
tice. You are welcome to share a poem\, short reading or personal reflecti
on\, or simply to hold presence for others. Please note this will not be a
space for conversation or dialogue\, but for bearing witness.\n\nPlease e
mail feministtherapynetwork@protonmail.com to let us know of your intentio
n to join. A Zoom link will be sent out the day prior.\n\nTo learn more ab
out feminism and Palestine\, visit our resource page.\n\nMay all beings be
free from suffering. May all beings know peace.\n\nIn loving solidarity\,
